Holiday project in downtown Naperville to renovate a client’s first floor by remodeling the kitchen and updating finishes, furnishings and accessories in the remaining first floor spaces.
We moved a wall in order to install and large island for this family in their kitchen. The new wall allowed us to add a larger window to provide more natural light into the kitchen. Their enclosed porch was re-faced with trim on the new wall to continue with existing trim design in order to make the space feel as if it had never been moved.
Flooring was patched in to make the entire first floor be a continuous flow of dark hardwood.
New cabinetry and countertops, a mix of new and old appliances in the kitchen, a mix of new and old light fixtures and a mix of the client’s own and new furniture and accessories completed this renovation.
